Gone to Minnesota

Folks, Next week I will be out of state.

No, it is not a vacation either.

But, I will try to access this blog spot, and catch up on the news.

I will also see if they will let me photograph the Historic Fort Snelling, In St. Paul Minnesota.
I will also be in Roseville, Minnesota.

I will have access to internet while I am there.

I played around with some of the flicker fd toys, have to do some of the work at home, because of the downloads required.

Still having a little trouble with getting the correct rss feeds. Some of the feeds don't come through, or the wrong ones have come through. Will still play with that some more. Have more time (ha ha ha) when at home.

I really enjoyed jami's post about the alien in the fortune cookie. Had 3 of us laughing and giggling like little kids.

I even had fun, putting the link for my flickr photostream on the last blog I posted. So I guess I am no longer a techno newbie, just getting to be a techno middie ( middle of the road, or midlin easy, take your pick)

Re-read Marion Zimmer Bradley's "Zandru's Forge" over the week end, and finished reading Barbara Hambly's "Mother of Winter".

This is a new series by Hambly for me. Has anybody else out there read any of her other stuff?

Flickr and Technology thing

I had some fun. I dug up some old photo cd's and uploaded some photos to flickr, and had fun doing it.

I also played around with my digital camera tonight and had some more fun, playing with the telephoto lens, flash, and some composition.

The roses are from bushes in my yard. The first rose, I labeled wow, Intense. The second is Pink Perfection. I liked pink perfection so mucht that I made it my desk top wall paper.

The dog is Lacy my neighbors dog, Her collar says diva and she is one.

The siamese is my Josie P. She stole the chair from me and is daring me to take it back.

It is taking me forever to get some of this stuff figured out.

It is driving me nuts, and now I am looking for the stabalizing bolt.

Currently, I am awaiting several new titles in the Science Fiction and Fantasy Collection. #1 on my list is "Space Wars, the First 6 Hours."
